We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Business Development Manager in Washroom Hygiene Services & Supplies and Clinical Waste Disposal

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Consultant will focus on delivering his/her individual sales targets by converting the Company's leads data, or through prospecting own Outbound leads using the phone/email or cold calling. You will sell quality Washroom Hygiene Services & Waste Management Contracts plus Supplies Trade Accounts in line with Mint Market Sector focus positioning and Mint Fun Drive Change behaviours.

This is a field based role with travel into the Company Head Office twice a month. The role is ideal for a successful, dynamic Field Sales Consultant who is a proven target achiever, and an interest in Hygiene Services.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Generate own sales through telephoning prospects from the Company's CRM system or self-generated prospects.
  • Generate quotations in accordance with Company Guidelines and follow-up on all hygiene services sales enquiries until won or lost.
  • Work as an individual to meet and exceed individual monthly sales targets.
  • Demonstrate initiative whilst operating within the Sales Team and set high standards of professionalism in all business dealings.
  • Provide accurate and timely Reporting figures to the National Sales Manager.
  • Liaise with other departments as necessary.
  • Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as required in the role.

Personal Skillset:

  • Outbound Calls - Pre-call planning / preparation, understand the importance of voice, being polite and engaging, an active listener blocking out distractions, able to establish customer's wants, able to deliver attention grabbing statements whilst outlining needs. Able to handle objections.
  • Reporting – Accurately and efficiently pipeline and sales stages in a manner set by the Company.
  • Customer Focus – Increase customer satisfaction through the delivery of an excellent and professional buying experience for the new customer.
  • People and Workflow Management – Manage own time and priorities and can remain focused, positive and enthusiastic when issues are encountered.
  • Colleagues – Work positively as part of a team and in supporting and motivating others to achieve team objectives.
  • Operational Effectiveness – Deliver consistent performance through adherence to the appropriate processes.
  • A self-motivated individual able to work on own initiative with excellent work ethic.

Desirable Business Skillset:

  • Experience in a field based B2B sales role is mandatory.
  • Washroom Hygiene Services experience a bonus.
  • Experience of working with a CRM System.
  • Computer literate.
